kinda looks like the MAP sensor on your new throttle body is for an OBD2 H22. my OBD1 H22A has the MAP sensor in the black box on the firewall. Try swapping the MAP sensors and see if that makes a difference. I know OBD2 is a lot different than OBD1 so that could cause some issues.

thats weird. because my h22a has the map sensor in
the same exact spot. But I actually have my plugged in. I used
the same plug from my wire harness. I started my motor and let
it run for over a half hour. And shes running beautiful.
oh wait, maybe because the cd5 is already vtec. IDK buddy,
but I hope you get it running right soon!

Let us know how the MAP swapping went!

I swapped the throttle bodies and plugged the original accord MAP sensor in. (the one in the black box on the firewal) and now the MAP sensor code is gone.
But the motor still sounds funny and now it's only throwing a #6 and #7.
I just thought of somethin last night. These aren't hooked up. Would that cause it not to run right? What are they and what are they for?

Those things in the picture are for the a/c.
I just got done removing my whole system.
Do you know what code #6 and #7 are?Last edited by brsteinbach; 07-28-2010, 05:57 PM.

I fixed #7... lol It's TPS. I didn't have it plugged in. I forgot to after changin the throttle bodies.
So I only have #6 now and that's coolant temp sensor. I have like one of them plugged in and I'm gonna plug the rest in later.

I didn't realize the TPS is adjustable until just now. Could it be not adjusted right? Would that even make it sounds like crap?

No I'm talkin about the screws that hold the throttle position sensor on. The throttle position sensor is kind of adjustable. I cannot figure out what is wrong you guys...
It is KILLING me. I've not been able to drive it for at least 3 months and it makes it worse that I've got the motor in it now and I still can't drive it :/
I've came down to this:
It is not throwing any codes that indicate what is wrong.
So all I know to do is to go get another wire harness (for a 5-speed this time) and just switch em out.

yeah the TPS is adjustable. But it should already be preset from the factory. They normally put some yellow paint over the screws to let you know that it's been set. If the paint is broken, then someone messed w/ it.
I think it needs to be .45v or .5v at idle and 4.5v at Wide Open Throttle
