    Time table question

    Hey,

    As most of you know, i'm going to swap my F22a4 for an H22a, as well as swap my 4spd for a 5spd tranny.

    I have:
    1) The socket/rench set (metric)
    2) Torque rench
    3) Timing light
    4) Hanyes 90-93 Accord manual
    5) Lift
    6) Cherry picker (A-frame)
    7) Read the F22->H22 swap FAQ
    8) Read Auto->manual swap tutorial

    I have virutaly no 1st hand experience diong any work on my car before. I have my friends dad, who's shop i'm using, to help me out with technical questions and some of the manual labor.

    Given these parameters, and I would like a very honest responce. How long would it take to preform this task? And would anyone who's done this sort of thing before(F22->H22) like to help me?

    I live in San Antonio, Texas. Where the weather is very nice and easy to work in, since i will be doing this in march over spring break.

    Thanks for any insight.

    Shoud be pretty easy. I would do the timing belt and stuff before you put the engine in... makes it much easier.

    The how-to on here and other forums should cover it pretty much, although i would invest in a Helms manual for at least the year of the prelude that you have the engine for.

    Until the swap, you should just get familiar with where stuff goes, and do some small work.. take stuff apart, put it back together.

    I am pretty mechanically inclined, and my first swap, I did by myself. It was pretty easy. You will want to make sure to have a good load leveller for the engine, cuz you gotta drop it in about sideways, then level it out. Its a tight fit. I dunno what i woulda done w/o the load leveller.
