    K Series swap

anyone ever thought about a k series swap for the cb7?? id like to see that
seems to me a k24 block with a k20 head would be sick in our cars. any thoughts on that? i know hasport makes mounts for older civics and integras for k series. and mounts arent too hard to make. and if they can do it to a civic it can be done here i would think. if its not any more effective than the h22 then at least it would be cool and original and another option is always nice. it'd just be sick id like to see it or if enough money try it...

im sure everyone has thought of it. but the motor alone is very expensive and alot of labor would be needed to fab all the mounts. i havent seen any pics, but supposedly someone in socal is in the process of doing it... all rumors though, im sure.

and if i got a k20, i wouldnt risk doing the bottomend swap thing, it makes very good power on its own... in stock form. friend of mine had nothing but kpro and a dtr header, made 220/160

The motors will come down in price as more are produced. HAS is working on a k-series mount kit for accords/ludes.

that 160 is whats gonna kill the accord. k24 block would be ideal

Why? An h22 only puts out 156-160 ft lbs (in stock form) depending on which version.

I think I read in a Honda Tuning mag. (not sure which month, but recent) that Hasport has under developement a K series swap for 90-97 Accords coming in the near future. Hopefully I read it right, but can't wait.

Jan 05 was the issue, the one with the CRX on the cover. Yeah I'll deff be considering a K24 bottom, S2K piston, DC5 ITR head K series if I stick with the Accord long enough.
