So I was looking more at the motor at the shop. it's not a H23 it's a B21A1

Damn it. anyway to make this work with the F22Ax motor?

Note: ONLY the head is good. the motor is shot.

alright, so i kno that i need a new crank gear for the h23 head swap, what is the difference between the f22Ax, f22B (jdm prelude) and h23 crank gears? I have an f22b one, will that work? also f22b I/M? I also have an a6 intake mani if need be but the f22B one is mint and i would rather use that. I see no reason why it shouldn't work.

If you build this and you run an P14 ecu, what do you do about the knock sensor?

I still think just putting an H23A IM on an F22A will give you the same power... the cams aren't that aggressive, and I don't think the DOHC head flows any better

Well, your theory is just that, a theory.

                      I have an H23 IM/tb, in a jdm f22a. WITH a 272 regrind.

In no way is it faster than my dohc. And my dohc is basically this head swap, with the exception of the compression difference. But most people make that up by milling the head.

If done perfectly, with a grand ol' tune up, the common butt dyno says around 160 hp. This hasn't been dyno'd yet though
