f22A6 swap to 5speed

Hey im planning on switching over to manual. A few of my car buddies suggested me to drop an h22 in when i do it but i don't even kno what the means or what it does for my car ? If you guys have any suggestion on what i should do let me know thanks .

The H22 is the normal performance swap engine. It also has a closer gear ratio on the tranny (meaning you'll be quicker, but sacrifice top end and fuel mileage.)

thanks. also i was thinking about putting in a new engine since i was changing transmissions, i heard the JDM motors on our cars are pretty good what you u think ?

I think that JDM is highly overrated and becoming a generic term used incorrectly. All it means is that the car was built and sold to be used in Japan. You can get a JDM engine that was built right here in the US and then sent over to Japan.
They're generally much lower mileage than a USDM replacement due to Japan's stringent automotive laws. Check out the swap section for ideas.
