    A quick question

I'm in the process of doing a auto to manual swap and noticed that there is a plug (I don't know what it is called) on the manual tranny where there isn't one on the auto tranny.
I have a picture to show what I'm talking about. It does have two plugs at the end of the wire.

    Here is the question:
Do I need it? If I do need it, will I have to change the harness since it seems to connect to the harness?

I did some research about doing a auto to manual conversion and probably forgot or might have missed this part.

It is a sensor for the reverse gear. Yes you need it.

Thanks to the both of you.
So now I know that it's a sensor for the reverse gear.
So where does it connect to?

Check the *Sticky* thread on manual trans swap should be in the swap section. It should go from tranny to shift console. Has to be wired up to a set of wires in there. I forgot which ones.
