    jesus. He said he wouldn't negotiate from $1500 but i offered him $1400 for the complete swap (minus axle's i believe) and he said sure. So, back to the dilemma. He said everything was clean and perfect. I'm not a mechanic or anything so i wouldn't know what i'm looking for. I guess it's a good idea to bring along a mechanic to check out the engine.

    so....back to square one for me. Is it okay to let the engine sit outside for a couple of months wrapped up in plastic? My house + garage is tiny and don't have any room for it even if i do get it. If i do get it, i'm sure i'll think of something....Grrr

      At least cover it with a tarp too, but uh... what was your address again? And could you tell me when you get the engine dropped off there? But seriously, not something I would do with a popular engine like that. One of our customers who has (had?) a Del Sol with the B16A1 powerplant came out from a long day at work to find her engine had been stolen. Right there, in the parking lot of the local National Guard Armory. You gotta wonder why they didn't just steal the whole thing and then leave the body somewhere else...
