Bogging, spuddering...no cel checked dizzy, timing etc....

Ok, i have a 91 lx with a h22a from tiger auto the motor itself is solid and ive logged 5k on it already. I've been having problems with the car bogging upon acceleration, mostly under 3500rpm. It happens while cruising and getting up to speed as well. I release the clutch, the car starts to go and then it feels like Im in quick sand or something...

If I pin it though, it'll go but ill choke and shudder bad. Sometimes the tires will even break loose up.

First thing I thought was timing, I had my timing belt done by a veteran honda mechanic, and the belt itself seems to be fine with cam gears/water pump/ balance shaft etc... I checked the timing through the keyhole on the transmission, spot on. I checked the dizzy as well I switched it to the 2000 si dizzy like specified in the swap guide.

There are no CEL, the timing marks are all on, it has to be fuel or air related...does anybody know if a bad IACV could cause this? I have a bad one and have been meaning to replace it but they arent cheap. It idles between 1k-1.5k on a steady loop but sometimes it drops to as low as 500!!! I have the air bleed 3 turns out to see if that would help

I can be more specific if you need, im not a troubleshooting whiz im hoping this sticks out to someone and they can say did you check your....

whatever throw me a bone, btw im running the p13 and i heard those suck and can create some drivability issues...

I had this issue a while back, it turned out to be improper fuel delivery. I put in a new sending unit.

Have you checked out your injectors? One or more could be clogged.

Plugs and all that stuff are new, I assume?

    life is good.

      Timing

Just because timing was done right does not mean it is right now. especially if you kept the autotensioner.

I would check timing, if you havent checked it.

      EDIT: sorry reading owns me.

Anyway checking to see that just your crank timing is right is not enough. You need to take the valve cover off and make sure that your cam gears are both alligned properly with the crank gear. The problem is not ignition timing, which can be checked just throught he hole, but is the timing between the crank and cams.

Regards, and if this is your issue I would recommend the auto to manual tensioner swap.

New plugs, new wires, new cap, new rotor fuel&spark to every cylinder. I did use the stock injectors, i checked them with a multimeter and installed new o-rings. I have the custom fuel line set up to the other side, I put a new fuel filter in but not pump or anything like that. Come to think of it, it probably still has the original pump.

and to the second post when i got the motor i did head gasket/new retainers etc while i was in there the guy that did it for me has been building working on honda heads for 20 years and he wont install anything that isnt OEM Honda he stole almost $300 in parts for me from his shop to help with the timing belt.

i figure it had to be air or fuel related, i did want new injectors along time ago but theyre exspensive... i guess ill start with injectors/pump because if anything i need them and its cheaper than ripping the head off grrrr

        thanks a lot guys!

OO OOO OOO One question!!!! when i was fabricating the custom wiring harness i came into an issue with the egr valve, the ecu diagram showed a the third wire hooked into a different sensor, or program or something, but i ran it anyways with no other option i think the other one had 3 wires too just a different function. i could be freaking for nothing.

would anybody be able to help me identify vacuum line assignments on the IM? I have so many more nipples lol than my MAP box or whatever has sensors and i think my motor is from a ukdm h22accord and anyways i just kinda guessed, could be aproblem but i couldnt find any concrete diagrams and i dont know whats alll needed or what nips are for different things/ different apps etc... i assume they use the same mold just use differnt holes

my chilton and hayes isnt really much help because i cant compare it to what the motor is originally from

i put in a new fuel filter about 5 months ago...could this be a 02 sensor? bad egr valve? bad IACV?
