I had a shop do my h22a swap into my 1992 accord. i was checking the wires going to the ecu they didn't hookup pin A17 will this hurt anything or stop my vtec from kickin in. I am new to all this and i want to learn as much as i can about what i have in my car.

when i did my swap the little black box below the the in let manifold was'nt connected i was'nt sure if i was to cut what ever wire there was in that pin ,im not even sure if not connected will affect the performance of the engine but my vtec kicks in hell yeah it does all the waayyy ... how ever i was told it control the air inlet to conserve fuel can some one back me on this ... and should i have this fixed im sure its a pink and blck and yellow wire ,,,,,
