    H23 Power steering

when swapping an h23a1 into our cb7's, too run p/s just use the h23's pump, bracket, and upper line......correct?

i read it in the f22b thread, but ive never seen one.....didnt, know if they were the same.

Correct, bracket should be H23, unless either Prelude F22 or H22 could be modded, not worth the trouble since H23's are fairly common. Pump can be from any 4G Lude-F22, H23, or H22, same pumps, diff. brackets. Upper line is up to you, I would personally either weld or use a dbl. compression fitting to join the 2 instead of doing the entire line, Lude line is longer anyways I believe.

The p/s pumps in the CD accords resemble the Lude pumps, aren't they the same? I think I remember Accrdkid using his factory 94 pump on his JDM H22, can't remember which bracket he used.

I'm also not sure which bracket the F22B and F20A DOHC would use since those are PT2 heads and H23 is a P14 head.

the lady at the junkyard that hooks me up said $25 for H23 bracket, line, and pump.

SO what are you saying about the upperline? the h23 will bolt up, but is too long? ideal line would be f22 line with h23 fitting?

i had the h23 line with no problems. you can use the f bracket with enuff spacers.

I just remember both LoDollar and Noxidea telling me about the fit of the entire prelude line, Noxidea hates his aftermarket prelude line. I myself would mate the prelude end to the CB line, but you've got some options. Plus, the fittings down @ the rack prob. are mint on your car from the lack of winters.

gotcha. so i should just take the head of the h23 line and the full cb line too a hydraulic shop to have mated right?
