ok, finally got the swap done with minor setbacks, but all taken care of. i currently have the f22a6 manual tranny bolted up to the H22. i know the H22 has shorter gears, which of course revs faster, but how much more of a difference are we talking about? half second faster? a full second faster? there is nothing wrong with my a6 tranny, but i'm trying to decide whether or not to go ahead and buy the h22 tranny.

i dont know for sure how much faster as in a time. but, look at it this way. the lude tranny has shorter gears, as you know. the accord tranny has longer gears, as you know. being so, you climb though the power band faster. this is what you want. you want to reach that peak horsepower number as soon as possible. its not about shifting faster, its about getting to peak numbers faster. with the stock accord tranny, vs a h22 with lude tranny, the lude tranny'd accord will burn the accord tranny'd accord, EVERYTIME!!! (example holds that both drivers got the same launch, and didnt miss any gears and rev'd to the same RPM. almost a computer simulation). hope this helps, sorry bout not haveing a E.T. but, if i were you, i would rock te h22 tranny. keep the accord tranny for back up just in case.
