The 2 blocks are the same right? I swap the F22a4 on H23a1 block before, so the h23a1 head will work with f22a1 block?

the only thing they've got in common is the crank and a few other parts.
how did you swap the sohc head to the h23 block??? most importantly why?!?!?

you'd probably have to plug a few oil/coolant ports...
but you lose the DOHC tunability & flow...
You'll probably have to port out the chambers to optimize the 87mm bore...the cr on a stock head would be interesting to say the least... that thing would be a tq monster though... and most likely choke past 5500...seriously choke...
interesting idea though... do it anyways... cause you never know...RIP Lifsatrip7

to be able to make an F22a4 head work on an H23 block like zigen said you have to pug some coolant ports. My question is WHY??? Why would you want to go with a 140 HP head on a block with the original head that makes 160 HP? Not a very smart swap. But if thats what YOU want then go for it."you can catch me swoopin 4G coupin switchin lanes" haha haha.
