Now if i do an upgrade on a msd cap and coil should i still ask for an accord cap cause msd makes one for the 90-91 accord or just got with a prelude cap off like a 99 joint

He ran a 14.9 last time out... and the car hasn't been running right lately.

Mike, I believe you can use the 90-91 Accord external dizzy... I think you need to get the whole unit though. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what it is I need to do! I've been told you can use the older CB7 parts, and I've been told you can use the later-model B series cap on the JDM dizzy... Hopefully someone will confirm, but those are the options I've read about so far.

if running an internal unit a B unit will work depending on year of your motor up to 96
the 97 and up are different.
are you adding msd 6al or 6a amplifier box? or a msd coil?

the wiring for the coil external converted from internal is easy. take the + / - wires from OE coil.
            90-91 internal coil
1: h23 cap, drill hole for the OE wires (+/-)
            2ull power leads from dizzy
            3:run to msd coil
4: use h23 plug wire w/ coil wire.
            done.

be sure to seal off the hole in cap so no moisture get in.
