i copied and pasted this list from the transmission swap thread, but i deleted from the list the things that i will be getting brand new from either tasauto, the dealer, or some autoparts store.
im planning to find the parts in the list above at a junkyard.

Including the transmission itself, and ESP auto-to 5 speed mounts, and buying everything else new besides the shifter assembly, pedals, cables. I spent at least 1200. I have a nice spreadsheet with the price I paid for each part and where I got it from, but toward the end of the swap, I quit keeping track. I probably spent closer to 1300-1400.
There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!

Do like I did and find a 5spd car that's been either t-boned or rear-ended and buy the whole thing then swap over and part it out. I did this and broke even with parting out the car. My only extra expenses were ESP mounts and a new clutch&flywheel.

nice, did you find the car on craigslist?
and how much did you buy it for?

Yep, found it on craigslist, happened to find a 5spd with low mileage that'd been t-boned. Paid $500 for the car plus $120 for gas to go to Atlanta to get it, pretty much broke even on the total parting out pieces that I didn't need.

                          Great deal.
No one has given me an estimation for how much it would cost for the parts listed above.
