    H23 VTEC swap

I know this is a accord forum but its a swap thread so i should i be alright, right on anyways im doing swap for a friend of mine. its a 92 prelude si with a h23 auto. she bought a h23a vtec (blue top). i know its a obd2 motor. so heres my question. can i use the h23a vtec injectors and just splice the wiring or have her get stock obd1 prelude vtec injectors and call it a day?

    heres what i found

    1992-96 Prelude non-vtec Peak and hold 240cc
1992-96 Prelude VTEC Peak and hold 345cc
    1997-up Prelude VTEC Saturated 280cc

        to get the obd2 working

get obd2 injector pigtails, and splice together all the wires going to the resistor box

If you use the OBD1 H23 injectors, tell her not to rev it too high. I would even keep VTEC disabled.

Can you use the OBD2 injectors just by splicing? I've never even considered that... Not that I've ever touched an OBD2 motor...

Yes, you can. That's how we did it on almostJDMs F20B swap.

what i was going to to is tell to get obd1 h22 injectors and jdm ecu and call it a day. being that accords and preludes have resistor boxes i should be fine if i spliced the injector plugs.

Larry, the only thing I've ever done with wiring was begin my BB6 cluster swap (thanks again for those diagrams )

I need to learn more about this stuff, though. I never knew OBD2 injectors were an option until today. Not that I need to change my injectors... but that does open some doors, potentially.
