    5spd conversion help

    ok my buddy was telling me last night that all i need is an manual tranny with the motor to match, cluth padels, and the tranny lines. he is making it sound simple but im confuse because theres a long list on the sticky. he told me that thats if u dont have the 5spd motor or matching tranny that u need all those parts thats on the list in the sticky.

    Go by the sticky, not by what your friend is telling you.

      Follow the sticky the motor has nothing to do with it... The auto mounts are diff than the man i did the auto to 5spd swap i followed the sticky pretty closely but not word for word part for part..

        you're gonna need a new tranny mount, unless you like drilling and tapping the trans for the auto mount. But a company called ESP.net makes really badass parts that eliminate all the hassles of doing that, so its a straightup bolt on deal. I bought their kit for 275 shipped, includes nicely made poly mounts that can more than handle the power you're going to put through it, (around 550whp)
