    jdm h22 cel 12,36 help

    i have a auto 97 jdm h22 getting codes 12 and 36 i re-wire the tcm wire with the ecu wire so that i wouldn’t get the code 36 for traction or something like that but the codes still comes up. Now for code 12 i think my vacuum lines might be wrong not sure i want to take it to a shop that specialize in h22 swapped accords unfortunately its 2 hrs away from where i live i called them up but they can only quote me on the price by e-mail its been a week and no response from them.i need this car running asap any help im not really familiar under the hood so the more detailed info the best thanks

    Code 12 is EGR. I was getting that onj mine, but it was because the shop had inxstructions for a 5th gen where you have to swap the wires on the ECU for EGR and O2 heater. They switched the wires back and no code 12 since.

    You can drive it with a code 12, I drove mine all the way to L.A. and back with that code.

      i dindnt have no check engine light untill they guy tha sold me the car unpluged the egr valve he was gonna help me out, ever since then i get code 36 and 12
