cb7 auto F22 into a 94 manual

isnt it the same engine. the 94 ex has vtec but i think even the mounts are the same. but i think there the same engines. it should be an easy swap. the lx engine isnt much differant than a 93 f22.

thats what i was thinkin but the 94 is an ex..

well the 94 ex is a single cam vtec. a 90-93 f22 should drop right in. vtec shouldnt make a differance. when i orderd my poly mount inserts the motor mount part numbers for 90-97 were the same, for the front and rear mounts. i think this is a basic swap. i dont see why u would have problems at all.

well i wont be doin it, u may have read about the coupe from cali i intend to get..
well im gonna sell my sedan, grab the coupe, remove the engine.. ship to pa where my bro gots a 94 accord he got for free cas the head was blown and he just needs an engine, so im gonna hit him up with this one when i grab the h for the coupe next sumr..
so he will prob just have a shop do it for him..
just wanted to make sure it would work out for him

look at this pic and see how similar the engines are this is a 94. and like i said the mounts are the same. front and bakc. sides not sure but see what others say. some peopoe here have the f22b1 (94vtec swapped into there cb7.)
