    what about the H....

    what about doing the H22 trani. swap to my F22b. (cause of the shorter gears), it`ll give me more bottom end right, but is it worth the swap???????????????

    if you have the money for a h22 swap, why not get the tranny with it??

      well, this swap is a little out of my price range, and i still need good gas mileage, thats the reason.

        I get about 28mpg on my h. How much better do you need it? BTW, swapping that h tranny won't give you good mileage.

            get the h and throw in an h23 tranny, best of both worlds. ur in the middle between the f tranny and h22 tranny if you go with the h23 tranny

              k, thnx ill do that, that is the best idea i have heard so far. im ganna do moderate bult ons and still get decent torque and mileage and so on and so forth, have any of u ran stock H22 w/ F22b* trani., what times did u get? (i mean 100% stock engine)

                if i was able to do a pass with the auto F22b trani. pushing it to redline each gear, with the h22 V tec (JDM). could i make a 16.0 - 16.45ish ET in the quarter mile?
                (on everything stock with Vafc tunning and a WS exhaust).

                What is a stock automatic F22** (SOHC NON V tec) quarter mile time?

                  and what would be a H22 with F22 tranni. quarter mile time be?

                  also, i heard that if im cruising at 70mph with a h22 and F22 tranni, ill be at 7,000rpm. is that true. i always thought the F22 tranny has longer gears

                      sorry u guys, but i cant find it, the gearing part, could one of u just answer, is the F22 auto tranny longer or shorter in gearing than the H22 tranny? and if so what should the car be at with the F22 tranny and the H22 engine when going about 70, and what will the car top out at. automatic?

                        is what i would go with.

                        to anwser your questions, the H22 has taller gears than the F22 tranny. youll be going 70mhp at 4 grand with the h22 tranny, wheres the f22 youll be doing around 3.4K.

                          I'm not sure if this helps, but when I went to the track, my stock F22A6 w/auto tranny only ran a 17.2 at best. I'd like to know how to get mid 16s out of a stock F22A6?
