    Oil Pressure gauge

    Hey,
I was looking into putting an oil pressure gauge for my h22. Not sure what other ones I should put, but I was wondering what one would i need? The choices are:

    0-100
    0-150
    0-200

    thanks

also, would i just get this type of line and t-adapter at autozone? I have seen some stuff like that in the riceroni section, but it prolly wouldnt be dependable.

I just about max out my 80psi guage so I'm sure 100 will be plenty adequate. I'm using a VDO electric one btw.

How is yours wired up? Like where does that line coming off the T-fitting go? all the way to the gauge? or just to a control box?

I have a VDO dual sender hanging off the block. On terminal is for the dummy light and the other for the guage.

How much for this part? Does it give you any problems? Where specifically on the block did you bolt this too?\

I'm thinking you spliced into the oil pressure sensor wiring...??

the sender replaces the stock dummy light sender.. it's located directly above the oil filter.. that sender is nice, because a has a connection for the stock dummy light, as opposed to mine were i had (really wanted too) run a t fiiting to keep the factory sender. Because my sending unit didnt have one. As far as problem I havent experienced any (had my gauge for about 6months now).. Price could be between 30-60 dollars.. The autometer ones go for around 30 bucks, it depends on the type of gauge that you get.. Autometer, VDO, Apexi, Greddy are just the ones that come to mind.. Oh, BTW im running an electrical 2 1/16 autometer phantom seires.. I love it ( for what I use it for..)

Which brands retain the dummy light? I like this VDO one, any others that have the same basic setup? I ask so I have more options and possibly can get a good deal and not pay out the a$$ for something simple.

also, when using that one.. I am guessing that you will just cut off your old plug for the pressure unit, and put it around one of the knobs.

You don't have to cut the terminal off the old sensor, at least I didn't. My wire already had the proper terminal on it already. I paid about $35 for the sender. BTW, you'll need to get an adapter, BSPT male --> NPT female since most senders you'll find are NPT thread and our blocks are threaded BSPT.
