SH block with a H22A4 head

I have had this motor (H22a4) for a while. I just started putting it together and noticed the rear balancer shaft is locked up. Instead of pulling it apart, I got another block from a SH lude. I know the ATTS makes it different and the oil filter housing is relocated because of it, but my question is if I am just using the block and internals in it, will I run into any problems installing it in my 93 EX coupe. I have read the many posts about not using the SH motor because of the ATTS, but I am not going to use any of that in the swap. Just the H22a4 head and the SH block with its current internals. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

the SH block has a different casting as a result of the ATTS. So it won't be an easy bolt in and the regular non-ATTS transmission will not bolt up (from what I understand). I did read on Honda Society that there is an adapter plate of some sort so you can use a non-ATTS tranny on an SH engine. You might try doing a search on that board to find more conclusive answers.

Is this the thread you were referring to?

All I will have to do is fabricate a bracket for the mid shaft and the tranny will bolt to the block fine right?

      Thanks
