    is this a good price for a complete swap setup

    the local junk yard here said that they will pull all the parts i need and request for a 5spd conversion for $800 including the tranny-does this sound like a good price or high? to me it seems alil high but ive never shopped for parts like this-thanks

          hell even if it was everything thats still WAY over priced..jacob got my trans from pull a part when we did my swap for 70 and thats w/ the 30 day warranty

            yeah around here where i live if it has honda or any other import name in it its priced up-and no its not just the tranny-its everything i need but yeah i knew it was over priced but wasnt sure how much-thanks guys

              Yeah, I know. I wasn't saying it was a good deal at all. $800 is a terrible price, especially from a junkyard.

                What's "everything you need"? Unless it's a whole hell of a lot more than a transmission, you're getting a shitty deal.

                    tranny,slave cylinder,lines,clutch dampener,shift linkage,etc. and like i said i know it sounded high just wasnt sure how high-any help to find the parts would be great or if some one has a 5spd parts car to sell me would be awesome

                        its not to terribly hard to find the parts if you have a pull a part, pick and pull, or w/e in your area or close so. Just piece it together and you'll be ok

                        i got a extra clutch pedal just laying in the garage if that helps
