      it probably jumped timing or its your valve adjustment

      i worked on a crv with the b20 that had jumped timing earlier this weeek

        so if i change the main bearings and camshaft bearings it will be fine?....cuz i dont have the funds to get a nother motor and gas is gettin high so i wanna stay single cam and save money and can i get a pic of wat the main and camshaft bearings look like?

          hey man, it doesn't have camshaft bearings...


          just remove the valve cover and adjust your valve lash and you should be ok.

          if you start replacing the main bearings and rod bearings, you might as well do a total rebuild.

              Don't replace anything yet. Get the valves adjusted and make sure your timing is right. If the belt was way off before and the engine was run like that, it could have bent valves. A simple compression check can tell you that...after the valve adjustment.
