OK, This is the absolute minimum (to me at least) list of parts to order and still have a reliable swap.
I Usually buy my parts from here, they are a Honda Dealer with pretty good prices on the best parts.
Prices are current as of this post.

      Throw away these H22 Parts:

      Get these H23 Parts:

      Buy #s 19, 26, 20 and 30 for the H23, as well as new tensioners (10&18)
      You can reuse #s 19, 25 & 27 (maybe # 26 too) from your F22.
Numbers 10 & 18 are the same as the F22 tensioners, but get new ones if you can.

      Honda Part Numbers:
This is basically listed above (thanks 90cb7sleeper),
I just wanted to show the correlation with the pic.

      #10, 13404-PT0-004- ADJUSTER, BALANCER BELT
      #18, 14510-PT0-004- ADJUSTER, TIMING BELT
#19, 14516-PT2-000- SPRING, TIMING BELT ADJUSTER
      #20, 14521-P14-A00- PLATE, ADJUSTER
#25, 90014-P14-A00- BOLT, TIMING BELT ADJUSTER BASE
#26, 90015-PT0-000- BOLT, TIMING BELT ADJUSTER SPRING
#27, 90016-PT0-000- BOLT, TIMING BELT ADJUSTER
      #30, 90140-P14-A00- WASHER, PLAIN (11MM)

Looks like somebody agreed with you!

So I corrected the OBD info, added and cleaned up the lists a bit and put Honda Dealer part numbers for most everything.
I think I'm satisfied with how everything turned out, it feels pretty complete.

Thanks to everyone for the help and the props!

Already read the list. Here is my question. I found a jdm h22a w/rhd wiring harness that has been cut, can i used a usdm wiring harness from another H22?

You will reuse your accord wiring harness and add the necessary wiring for vtec, knock etc.

it is much much much easier to just reuse the accord harness!

Yes, it would work, but only to the plugs on the fender. You'd have to re run every plug through the firewall in order to do that. It takes all of 10 minutes to run 4 wires through, or you can do what I did and pull a 4 wire plug off of a car in the JY and make your own plug. Either way, it's way easier than screwing with the whole harness.

You want pieces from the cut H22 wiring harness mainly for the plugs that go to the sensors you didn't have on your F22.
Cut these parts from the H22 harness and add them to the CB7 harness:

                        Sensor plugs/ connectors;
IAB (Unless you have an F22A6 already)
                        Knock Sensor
                        Vtec Solenoid
                        Vtec Oil Pressure
EGR Valve (different shape than F22 one)

Also the F22 alternator wiring won't reach over the H22, so cut a lenth of that (I like to cut behind the valve cover) from the H22 harness to extend those.

And keep the H22's plastic wiring cover that fits into the valve cover and surrounds the alternator wiring.

The rest of the H22 harness is really only good for extra wire or replacing broken plugs.

what if you are putting an h22a4 in the car. doesn't it have the ckf sensor on the bottom of the crank? what do you do about that? just curious. so this way, this is also covered.
The beginning of a new era............................
165 hp 149 ft. lb. torque sohc non vtec. then....
184 whp and 149 ft. lb. torque f20b stock now......

Sounds good... here's what I know about that:

Most of us probably order JDM motors...(at least some of) The JDM OBD2 motors don't have it there, it's in the distributor like the earlier engines. Also they do not have the Vtec Pressure switch at all. In order to use an ECU that needs the Pressure switch signal, tie the ECU's VTPS wire into the VTEC wire.
I Put one of those motors in a 95 Accord, and just swapped the dizzy, injectors and ECU to OBD1 parts. I like OBD1 for tuning purposes if nothing else.

If you're swapping to a US H22A4 and going OBD2, I guess the parts list would still be the same except for you would need an ECU conversion harness. Then you'd just have to identify and reroute 1 or 2 wires from the dizzy area to the timing side to meet the newer motor's sensor.

A couple more sensors/plugs will have a different shape than the OBD1 engines, like the Alternator and knock sensor for example. Just use a sensor and plug that match, it doesn't really matter and most of the wire colors will still be the same.
