    h22 idle problem?

    well when the car is at idle the rpms climb to 1500 rpms and then drops back down constantly only thing i can think of is a vac leak?? any ideas.

    i had the same problem on mine it was a vacume leak the hose at the end of the intake manifold had come loose and was just hanging there....pluged it back in and my problem stopped..

        is there a way to tell if the motor is jdm or usdm, if so how?

          look at the stamp on the motor next to the tranny where the timing plug is that little bulge sticking out has a stamp on it which is etched onto the block itself. If it says h22a then its the jdm version if it says h22a1 then its the usdm

            one way is to look at the plenum.. usdm has extra crap on it.
