Thoughts about swapping in a pilot V6! Possible?

I have been thinking about doing a Honda Pilot engine swap into the accord. It's an aluminum alloy 3.5 L SOHC, 24-valve VTEC V6 engine. The engine is rated at 240 hp and 242 lb·ft of torque. I know it would be hard to do, but I figure if that guy(Richard/civette) put a corvette engine(bigger than a pilots) into a civic hatchback(smaller than an accord) I could do this. More power than an H22 isn't it?

Do you think it would fit into the engine bay of the accord without having to extend/hammer it out any? I figure I would have to get driveshafts made custom and get some different axles to handle the extra weight and power.
I would try to make it a rear wheel drive car! Would be pretty sweet if you ask me. I wouldn't be able to do it for a few years, but would need to be doing lots of planning between now and then!

So do you guys think I could do that and or do you think that it would even be worth it?

Worth it? yeah. but it will cost ya a big chunk of your yearly income.

Does the Pilot have a J series?

Are you going for POWER or being DIFFERENT?

With enough time and money, almost anything is possible. What you are suggesting will take a lot of both, but I'm sure it can be done. It would be much easier to swap in a K24 though...

Or you could just look into your idea and decide what YOU want to do. Insted of what everyone seems to want everyone else to do.

i think it wld be cool to do a v6, why not
the tq alone wld make you get off

but its the problem of the money invovled
              cost of motor
              cost of tunning
              cost of mounts
the wirring alone wld take a week

it wld be worth it in the end and it wld be kick ass

but i think a k swap with a 6spd or harder yet get the auto/man to work
and that wld be amazing and cheap

              pilot motors are j series

this is similar to an idea i have. but with a Honda Passport frame. and getting to use 4 wheel drive! haha snow use. like subarus and at the same time you can switch it off for rwd. lol. but it's just an idea. but would be pretty cool i think.

but i think you should try to do it.. GL

I don't think it would be very much more to swap a J over a K. Either way it'll cost a lot.

And as far as wiring, i have seen OBD I to OBD II convo harness. and then wiring VTEC and anything else it will need. But a lot you could eliminate with a tune.

If you want a v6, put in the J series from the TL with the 6 speed manual and lsd. That version makes more power anyway.

Sure it would fit, but it's got less HP than an H22 and would be kinda pointless if you ask me.

What about a C32B? Ya know, the NSX motor! That would be CRAZY! Only problem with that is that EVERY part for that motor is crazy expensive! And the motor on ebay is 12k! haha

So the K24/20 is done already? That sounds more doable! What kind of gains are we talking about with that combo? I'd love to have a 6speed!!! What is the hp rating in those things?

It does seam to be doable, but no one ever will do it, it's all just talks, look at K20/24 swap the only reason that is done by "2piont6" just to make engine mounts for easy swap, how many more ppl have done K-series swap in cb7
