    code 21-vtec spool solenoid.

    wat can cause this code?? i already had changed out whole vtec solenoid assembly once b4 for the same code.

      h22a its an obd2 motor but running p13 auto ecu and p19 tcu

          i wana say dirty screen cuz i got it the vtec solenoid off ebay ... also i have oil seaping through behind solenoid assembly is that due to gasket needing to be replaced.??

            definitely check the wiring. that was my problem. now i have a perfectly good solenoid and pressure sensor sitting around.

                same here. and that was my problem. mine, to be exact, was a bad crimp.

                    i would get a CEL sometimes. Once, i got pissed and punched the floor at the ECU. it worked.

                    Everytime after i would wiggle the shit out of the wires and it would go away. i just cut the crimp off, twisted the wires together, solder (you could skip that if you like), tape.

                    Haven't seen a CEL since

                      so wherever the wires were crimped together check it out and take it apart and resecure them together tightly.. is soldering an effieceint way so i wont have a problem a long time from now cuz tape can un-ravell over time??

                        A true professional would not use a crimp.........
                        If you have crimps check all your wiring something is probably going on with it...

                          Good thing we're not professionals then.

                          Definitely check wiring. Mine came loose the other day too. I must not be working out my crimping hand enough.
