My engine actually looked like that, but I cleaned her up for pictures
I found this B12 Cleaner and it just blasts away anything and everything.
I tried it on my IM and it looks like new!
I'm just going to get new mounts, seals, timing belt, and throw her in.
        I've got another question tho
The Prelude doesnt have the nice Fluid control mount like the Accord, but will the P13 still activate the solenoid?

what I did was put a 5spd OEM Honda solid mount I found in the JY that was in brand new condition in place of that vacuum one and it works perfect. You just need to plug that vacuum hose so the engine doesn't think somethings there.

I'd replace every oil seal on that thing. Clean out the vtec solenoid, pour some seafoam through the engine, fill er up with oil, start er up, shut er down, change oil/filter start er up, drive a few hundred miles and do another oil change.

agreed, even if you clean all the sludge out, the seals have already taken their toll.

                Shes almost ready!
I'm just making up my harness right now
                Now I need...
2 Wires for VTEC Oil Pressure (color?/color?)
1 Wire for VTEC Solenoid (Green/Yellow)
                1 Wire for knock (Red/Blue)

                Am I missing something?

Well I got this so far
                      Factory 90 Accord Automatic Harness

                      Pinned 90 Accord Automatic harness

I pinned everything exactly like how it came off my 94 Prelude harness, but does it look correct?

Do the swap, replace the valve cover gasket set, water pump, timing belt, spark plugs and wires, and then once the motor is in the car drain the oil completely, put another oil filter on it, put 3 quarts of cheap oil in and half a quart of ATF from honda.. start the car, let it warm up on it's own.. just start it and get out of the car let it do it's thing. Then once it warms up, cut it off and change the oil normally.. run that oil change for about 1k miles and then change the oil again.. then your good to go that ATF from honda will clean all that crap out no doubt

every vehicle i have seen with sludge that bad ends badly.

                                the reason being:

when i motor is driven with that thick of oil the main and rod bearings wear to accustome to that.

and then you go and put in some thin oil.. it will throw a bearing every time.

you really need to just tear it apart, get new bearings have a machine shop clean it and then reassemble it.
