H23 Swap Question

Does anyone have a full H23 swap setup ....????

Need Info i got offeres one for a good price so idk to much about the h23 and its capabilities especially on a cb7....???

from what i understand, your car should weigh about as much as a 4th gen prelude. around 2800 give or take? my prelude with h23 runs 15.414 with intake header exhaust test pipe. if you use the f22 tranny it'll be a little slower in acceleration. but it should be relatively in the low to mid 15 range. pretty quick

THey work. Bjaccord has a nice boosted h23 in his as i recall. Anyway its a good motor. Pretty much direct drop in with no need to wire anything but the knock sensor. Its a good motor. If I didnt get the h22a i woulda gotten an h23.

yea over on preludepower there's someone with a h23 runnin some real nice numbers boosted. i was gonna boost mine til i realized the f22 could hold mroe boost reliably. and if i upgrade internals, they wont eat away at the block if i don't sleeve them

Yes to get big numbers out of the H23 reliably,resleeving is a must due to the CRM sleeves as oppose to the iron sleeves that F22 has.
Im not quite sure but somebody says that the F22 sleeves can handle up to 400 hp without resleeving or something like that.

i got the h23 vtec engine the swap went nice. just waiting on my ecu to be chipped and then install the h23 tensioner and new timing belt.

tdoggsH23a how much for the h23 vtec if you don't mind and what tanny you are running in. I keep my eye open for h23 vtec for the last couple years, price gone down little, future swap
plus my car too young for a new heart just 100k

i have the h23a dohc non vtec i love this thing and cant wait till i get enough money for the turbo. i bought mine for around 900 shipped it was almost a direct swap except the flywheel. im usung the f22 tranny right niow but will be getting the h22 tranny in a few months.

i got mine locally and i paid 800 for motor tranny and ecu. and the tranny that i have is the m2s4. the ecu that i got was obdII so i couldnt use it.

thanks guys i think imma go with the h23 cuz i do want to swap the motor but i would also like to switch it to 5sp...do you guys think it would cost to much to do all that...??

i found my self a cheap parts car for 250 that had all the parts. I went from auto to 5spd as well. In the end it saved a lot of money and i can give it to the scrap yard for some cash too.

same thing I did, bought a wrecked car for 500.00 and used all of the prelude parts.

i got a VERY healthy h23a1 swap for 400 bucks.
came with EVERYthing under the hood: engine, tranny, ecu, AND the guy even pulled it for me.
im running a full h23a1 setup and i love it. cant wait to go turbo on this beast.
