    jdm h22a distributor

    the bearing went out on my jdm h22a distributor.....is there any where i can order the right distributor for my car....i dont care about price?

    is it internal or external. you could go to autozone and order one for a h22 oh23 92-95 prelude

        if its jdm h22a they come with internal coil ...usdm is external coil... i think xenocron.com sells internal coil dizzy.

          i believe the internal coil ones are the same as a 90-91 cb7 dizzy

                  Should be the same as the 2000 civic si. I know the cap and rotor are the same.

                        Really? i need to find either an igniter or dizzy. my rpms started.... skipping i guess you could say. like i stepped on it to get into traffic without dying and when i hit 6 or 7k it sounded like i hit my rev limiter(easiest way to describe it) but i wasn't over 7k yet. then it happened again, only in first and between 2 and 3k. been reading. i think it's the igniter.


                        but can a 2000 Civic Si igniter work in an H22 dizzy? if not what would be compatible? TIA

                          If your ignitor was dead your car would not run. Your car's symptoms sound like something else.

                            it's not dead. obviously. but everywhere i read it can point to an igniter going bad. the only symptom i lacked that said otherwise was a jump tach while the motor was under a big load.


                            what else could it be? I have the previous problem, plus random loss of power. like my car lost it's balls. Im told it's because i am running a P13. but i am not so sure tuning around a problem would do me any good.
