So has anyone on here done the h23 DOHC VTEC swap?

Title pretty much sums it up. I swear if someone tells me that there is no such thing as an h23 DOHC VTEC you are going to be e-slapped.

From what I have read this engine is pretty close to the h22, with a slight increase in displacement. I think many of the parts are interchangeable as well. I guess I'm wondering if anybody from this site has stuffed one in to a cb7.

I don't think anyone has ever given it any thought of doing, but that would be a unique swap, the closes to that I seen people do here in Hawaii is at shop called WMR(Wicked Machine Racing) they use to, dunno if still do or did a H23 block with a H22 V-tec head set up which was amazing low end torque and high end vtec, pretty nutz if you ask me.

I haven't heard of anyone doing it. Going along with MansuAccord, my friend did the H23 VTEC swap in his 4G Prelude (H23 block, H22 head for those that don't know). Man, that thing hauls so much ass. It has decent torque and pulls hard in the top end. I always heard they were pretty unreliable, but he has had it for a while, so I guess it's not as unreliable as people say.

Well I'm not talking about a h22/h23 hyrbid, I'm talking about the h23 that came from the SiR wagon. Lemme see if I can find the link to the engine.

Thanks for the link man, but I'm really looking for anybody who has personally done this swap.

my brother actually bought one. (h23 vtec) it cost him right at $5000 for the motor i think.. but he changed his mind and went with the H22 SIR motor.. to do the H23 vtec swap you have to change from obd1 to obd3 i think maybe 2 i cant remember..but that was too much money for him lol.
