i have a f20 dohc non vtec head on a stock f22a1 block...would it be better to chip my ecu or get the prelude si ecu

runing the f22b twin cam ecu isnt the same, i dont understand why you would run that ecu or the sohc like you said in the other post. the way i see it, is you have 2 choices to make it run correctly...
jdm PT2 for the actual engine itself which is an Accord Si engine not prelude

i dunno why you would skimp on the ecu and try and makeshift some ecu to get it to run. i dont see anything else making it run correcly.

it would run best on a chipped p06, you can start with an f22a6 base and dyno tune it from there. what people dont understand is the fact that the f22a is sohc and the head you're using is dohc doesn't matter. the comuter doesnt know the difference. all the ecu controls is fuel and spark and that's all based off timing. so as long as the timing and fuel and ignition map are close you can use that ecu. it doesnt have to be a dohc ecu. does the car run and drive well on the stock f22a ecu?
