Anyone knowing any prob i would run in 2 if i was 2 use the exsisting sohc wire harness n ecu....i would just leave it there or remove it n get a new cap n plug it...the way i see it the h23 n f22 with similar head pattern didnt came with sensor n i was hoping anyone could give some technical info regarding it...

my f20a twin cam didnt look like this.

and whoever made the dizzy comment is wrong, its the same, 90/91 internal, 92/93 external. whatever year the f20 came out of determines the internal or external. mine was internal, i just swapped it over to external with coil and everything was fine.

i also have a jdm pt2 ecu from the engine, but im not sure about shipping overseas and such.

These engine,s actually came with internal coil but i got a shock when i saw that sensor on the intake cam, so 2 avoid any prob i will be using a h22 dist for this swap..n due 2 the exsisting engine harness r in bad shape, i will try 2 get the h22 or the sohc or dohc(which is hard 2 find) version engine harness..n regarding the ecu, i will be using the current 1..coz the comp from the sohc is 9:5.1 which is same as the dohc version...

yeh but the computer is for a sohc and not a dohc. the car will run, but i dont think it will run right, which in essence wont give you ther performance gains of the dohc compared to the sohc anyways.

i still dont know what is on the intake cam, never seen it before.
