F20 DOHC on a F22 SOHC

i had these parts laying around and i was curious if a F20 DOHC head would work well with a F22 SOHC block???

the F20 DOHC head is almost identical to the H23 DOHC head and people have done the H23 head on F22 block hybrids. So the F20 DOHC head should work. At the end you should end up with a F22B DOHC engine.

and since the F20A DOHC and F22B DOHC are both 85mm bores a stock accord headgasket will work, unlike the H23 Head you have to use a F23 head gasket.

lokuputha is right, in the end you will have an F22B dohc, i believe those two heads are identical.

why does ur sig say G22 swapped? you have f22 block with f20 head which means ur just a f22 dohc? and also just to let you know ur compression will raise higher than 8.8:1, not by much, but it will raise. some how the f22b head JDM which is the same as the F20A head has a lower cc than the single cam, so it will raise slightly.

^His IM has to be the PT6 (F22a6) runners which also came on the F20A DOHC and the infamous H series plenum and t/b, good stuff
