anyone have any problems getting a stubborn cotter pin out? I sure the hell am. all I did was breaking some of it off and now im stuck. by the way it's the cotter pin on the lower ball joint driver side. Another question is, how do youtime a JDM F22b motor?

I had the same problem only w/ my rear upper control arms, both pins were so rusty, couldn't get them out completely. I basically un-did the nut anyway, it basically threaded the pin Then I picked out what I could, then cleaned up the 2 tunnels w/ the drill. The metal on the pin is pretty soft, do the best you can.

And are we talking cam timing or ignition timing?

Yes, when I put my struts/springs on my car, the cotter pin was a bitch and fell apart, I got mad, kicked my neighbors cat, that didn't get the cotter pin out, I fought for a few with it, said some choice words, then found a nail and used that to push it out. I win!
