I've searched... just want to clarify!

Alright... I'm getting my H22 this week... Just the long block... I searched the stickies and found that I can use my existing F22 wiring harness, tranny and several other misc things I don't really want (a/c, ps, etc.)... My questions are as follows:

    1) When I use my F22 transmission (5spd) do I still need to tap the transmission to mount correctly or will it mount exactly the same as before?

    2) When I remove the A/C, power steering etc. where can I find the correct belt size I will need?

    3) Can I use my P72 ECU from my old CRX?

I am sure I have a few more questions but I am going to read somemore before I post them and get some negative responses... But if you guys could just let me know really quick about these so I can get it straight... Thanks guys...

If your using the stock F22 transmission you wont have to tap it. The only time you need to tap a tranny is when you put the H22 tranny in the CB7.

Alright... thats kinda what I was thinking... I was talking to the guy who is going to help with the swap... He was wondering how I would go about wiring vtec with the F22 harness? Isn't there a plug on it for Vtec? If so... Would I be able to use a USDM harness with a JDM H22?

No you don't you only have to tap a tranny that came out of a prelude. That tranny has 5 hole 3 are for a accord mount 3 are for a prelude mount. Yours was taped from Honda for a Accord

You P72 will work but you will need to get it socketed and have a h22 map put in place of the GSR one. I am using a P28 and before I got it chipped and socketed I ran the motor with the D series map for a while. It leaned it out but didn't run funny.

EDIT:And you will need the 2 vtec plugs and pin them into your ecu. Search for OBD1 vtec pin outs or something of that nature.
