    5spd conversion...PEDALS wiring

im in the proccess of doing the 5spd conversion on my 91 LX. I was gonna replace the whole brake/gas assembly however it is much easies to just replace the brake arm for a manual, so thats what i did, now i need help making the reverse lights turn on when i shift into reverse. any help will be apreciated....

if it's easier to just replace the brake pedal itself with one from a manual i'll just do that because it was a pita trying to figure out how to remove the assembly from the donor car.

But how do you manish to place the clutch pedal because the brake and the clutch pedal are on the same bracket. But I know, it's a real pain in the ass to replace the whole assembly

maybe on RHDs. but not on LHDs. on LHDs the gas & the brake share the same bracket

open ur eyes the holes for the clutch pedal are already in ur firewall its a simple bolt on the hole for ur clutch master cilynder is there 2. @ the factory they didint have time 2 make a bodie esoecially for auto ot manny so all the factory holes u need 2 convert are there for u just a matter of taking ur time.it is easyer 2 just replace the brake pedal its a lil more work getting the brake and gad pedals together but since the gas pedal on manny and auto are the same keep ur gas pedal althogh i swapped the the whole bracket and it wasint that bad at all.

              You're right

I thought it the other way round. True, the gas and the brake are on the same bracket. But still it's a pain in the ass.
