hey i have a 93 h22a type-s hatch cx. im sponscerd by two places but cant yet give out there names. from my sponcer ? i can get a hold of a b16a sec. gen motor tranny ecu wiring harness for $1100 shipped to ur buis/home all legite papers clean. also h22a type s same as above for 1700 shipped to ur door. and soon to know about Gsr's,Itr's.Ctr's


Whats the differnce between a type s and a h22a? Pros and CONS please?

Major pros would be a stronger engine to start with.

Major cons would be wiring troubles converting the motor to OBD-1, dealing with ATTS, cost, and open deck if you plan on boosting.

I'd be pretty weary of an h22a type r that cheap... something isnt right. hmotorsonline.com has the h22a type r at $4000 for the complete changeover.

As for the wireing, i dont know what would be involved in an OBD conversion, ive just read alot that it is a major headache.

I would NOT buy an engine from someone who can not spell sponsor. Just my personal opinion. And yes, that sounds too cheap to be true.

Yeah, a Type S engine for that cheap is either stolen, broken, or fake.

I'm not positive, but I believe you could get a USDM H22 for fairly cheap, and put all the Type S parts on it (pistons, rods, cams, intake mani... all the big ones) Unless I'm wrong (which I may be) you'd have a Type S for less if you shop smart. Still, $1700 will never happen!

i would rahter keep obd 1 then obd 2. the difference are the two o2 sensors. less headaches when running performance shit/ computer wise.
