    p14 and jdm f22b help

Ok so I have to add a knock sensor, how do you do that? Just pin the pin the ecu and wire one up? Thanks for the help.

basiclly take a pin out of a junkyard harness.. pref. a knock sensor pin with pigtail and wire it up/solder/heat skrink to a NEW knock sensor.. used ones tend to not work for some reason when reused if its been removed.. their touchy like that..

personal opinion.. the p14 still isnt made for the f22b.. its made for an h23a.. that has a bigger stroke and bore.. it will run rich on ur f22b.. and the timing curve isnt the best..

i hate to sound like i bow down to chipped ecu.. but there so good at what they do..

a chipped p06 wont cost u no more than 150 (chipped) not shipped but chipped

and a basemap i bet is still better than a stock p14 that runs on a useless knock..

all engines knock.. its controlling that knock and keeping it minimal that matters..

So with that p06 from the 92-95 civic lx all I would have to do is get it chipped? I have never chipped a car before what do I tell them to do? Where is a good place to send it? Do I not need a knock sensor with the p06?
