    Could a 90 auto trans. fit a 94 engine ?

    Hi !

I got a 1990 Honda accord with a bad head, broken valve and two burned ones. I was looking for just the head, but there's one guy around here with a full 1994 engine running perfectly. Only problem is, he doesn't want to sell the transmission. I got two perfectly running trans. for my 1990. I was just wandering if the two could go together without any serious problem.

Ok to be more specific the engine is a F22b2 and the trans. is from a F22A4. I saw the tread on the swaps and I saw that the F22 had the same gearing for the manual trans. Does that go for the automatique trans. to.

I know the 94 engine is a non Vtec. Not really looking for power right now. Just something to get me where I want till next sumer.

I know I could probably find this on the net, but I don't really have the time to look right now.

    Thanks in advance.

I am almost 100% positive the f series are swapable along with the h series. It should fit to the motor BUT there might be some mounting issues.
No more cb7, 7 years of ownership and 196K on the ticker before she was sold

        Thankx for the feed back.

I just both a part car for my girlfriend 240sx. So I'm going to be working on her car for a wild. It's going to give me little bit more time to find a good head for my engine.

Going to université and it's a 3h drive from here to there, so I won't have to much time to work, and I don't won't any supprise.

        Thanks
