    vtec pressure switch where????

    i have a jdm auto h22a and there is no vtec pressure switch.
    there is a bolt in where it goes.
    did someone take it out???
    i think i read on prelude power that some didn't come with it.

    do i need it for vtec to engage??
    can i add one will it work normally??
    there $45 from honda

    Yes get it you with throw a check engine light if it isn't plugged in and vtach will not work.

      if ur on a stock ecu then yes you need it

          in most engine management systems you can disable the oil pressure check. But I think you are better off buying that one, for safety reasons

            x2. 45 dollars is not a lot for a sensor. Yes its expensive but it will save your ass.
