    You swapped or They Swapped??

    So for those who swapped and did all the work yourselves...i congratulate ya guys btw ...but im wondering how long (days) and how much $$$$ did you in totally spend doing the swap if any?

    For those who got a shop to do this swap...of course the same question applies but it's towards the shop that did the swap (Cost and Time). Not including the price of the Engine, just the labor and such. TIA.

          btw...why is it around 2200-2500 if i did it myself? i mean is that material wise? I mean that sounds like the price of the h22 already including shipping.

              well your going to change stuff and mod some stuff. so its going to cost you some. because you want it to be perfect.

              they're like 2200 shipped.

                  euro-r's cost around 3200 shipped. TOTALLY WORTH IT. 30 extra hp than a reg h22.

                  thats going to be my next project. n/a fully built h22 euro-r

                    I wish someone would do that with my accord with an h22, cause i am asking less than $4k...and it has a lot more than just a swap in it.

                        auto swaps are little cheaper

                        most people who do it there self take 1 week,but it can be done faster.

                        i only spent about 1500-1800 together for mine so far.

                        haha my motor comes thursday. i 'll time it for you.

                          Me and my boy did it. Took 3 days with breaks cuz i had work. Straight would be a day or a day and a half including possible running into problems. Wiring takes time (the right way), dropping the motor takes time (very tight fit). Everything else is smooth.

                          I got my engine for 1835 out the door.
                          JDM h22 with m2a4 tranny and an aftermarket LSD

                          I paid more for bolt ons and lighter clutch and flywheel

                          If you swap, do it the right way. That was my motive.
                          Total cost for swap:
                          1835=complete swap
                          600= clutch and fly
                          400= greddy header
                          -----------
                          $2835

                          The experience: PRICELESS, and you feel good when you kill people on the road

                            they have about 17hp more, not 30

                            cams and tuning on a regular h22 can net you that with a fatter powerband
                            ....and on the 7th day, deevergote rested and called his mom.
