    I Need Some Help

SoOo if all goes planned today, I'm bringing home a 91 4 dr. ex for my girl for a project car.
Needs a motor, I'm gonna put a f23a4 w/ 97 h22 head in it because i can get it cheap. I think i'v efound most the info i need but i got a few questions.

What timing belt do i use?
A p13 ecu would be fine to use?
I know there are 2 holes in the head that need to plugged is there anything else that needs to be done to the head?
I'm guessing use the h22 head gasket?
And i need a IM for this intake manifold, so does the Idle control valves, and TB for a h23 work for a h22 manifold?
And would i be able to use the obd II dizzy since the head is coming with it anyway?
Thanks alot if anyone can answer atleast some of thes questions i'd really appreciate it lol thanks

I can't really help you but bump cuz I'm curious about this combination.

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

A p13 ecu would be fine to use? no, cus you need something that controls vtec, and timing for the extra camshaftI know there are 2 holes in the head that need to plugged is there anything else that needs to be done to the head? i dont think so
I'm guessing use the h22 head gasket? yea or h23 will work i think
And i need a IM for this intake manifold, so does the Idle control valves, and TB for a h23 work for a h22 manifold? pretty sure
And would i be able to use the obd II dizzy since the head is coming with it anyway? nope, you need a obd1 conversion harness
Thanks alot if anyone can answer atleast some of thes questions i'd really appreciate it lol thanks
        hope that helps

But i will see tommorow or see if i can that other bracket and throttle cable for the tranny to mount on there somehow. we will see

                      Way off.

Anyway your better off buying a prelude IM if you want. Its got a better setup and bolts right on. As I recall the h23 has a diff bolt pattern but the throttle body is interchangeable. H22 head gasket should work if everything is plugged right.

yea looked at the IM gaskets today at work, for the h22 and h23, they are close but ^^^the bolt pattern on the bottom instead of being staggered to the left the h22 is directly under the each intake port.
                        so h23= .O .O .O .O
                        h22= O O O O
                        . . . . < u get the idea
Sux too because it looks like the f23 IM has the same bolt pattern as the h23.
But looks like i will be ordering the h22 IM, i'm hopin i can use the f23 exhaust manifold tho, i have to pick up an h22 exhaust gasket to match it up.
                        BTW f23=o oo o
And the mnaifold also has an inlet for coolant from the water neck/t- stat housing can't expect things to go smoothly i guess

Well i guess i have spare parts now, i have to check out the head from the f22 to see if its alright, but i have the f23 head and f23 IM, If someone wants it or is interested in it? Just bought the h22 IM tonight for 60 bucks, so no more guessin about what will work I'm going to have to figure out how i can mount the bracket for the auto, throttle cable that bolts the throttle body, since all the h23 TB i have are from 5 speeds. May have to drill and tap holes for it i guess. But keep your fingers crossed everythin else goes smooth fellas . oOOo and check out the members ride thread for the car, balck interior will be comin soon.....

Alright guys 1 LAST thing hopefully, the setup is all in and running, I'm pretty sure the TCM is bad tho. It runs for maybe 5 seconds and throws a CEL.(Accord TCM) And then will not come out of park and won't shift going down the road. So figure it must be the TCM.
My question is should I use the 90 accord Lx TCM or the Prelude h22 TCM?
                            Remember the setup is:
                            h22 head w/f23 bottom end
                            trans: 90 accord lx auto
                            ECU: 94 prelude (h22)

For prelude h22a with the stock accord auto setup you have to cut up some stuff and solder some wires together. I forgot what it was exactly but I think its covered inside the swaps deal somewhere.
