            If you get the 17" wheels, expect to get higher rate shock absorbers. Due to the smaller and harder side wall, the spring rate of your suspension system will increase dramatically.

            *with 16" wheels - Tokico HP (blue) or Koni Red
            *with 17" wheels - Tikico Illuminas (white) or Koni Yellows (you can adjust these for higher dampening rates)

            Also with larger wheels, the rolling inertia of your wheels will increase because the weight will be more outwards from the center, so a higher rate braking system should also be considered. ei. EBC Green pads or or a wagon brake swap.

            ...the bigger the wheels the more expensive everything will be...tires, brakes, shocks,

                  16's are just the best.

                  They look and perform the best. (look is imo, and perform varies with weight but for the same wheel bigger is heavier) Also they cost less to get tires for and purchase and will allow for a slightly thicker sidewall on the tire for more wheel protection.
