    anyone heard of these tires?

    http://www.sportcompactonly.com/Mast...97_p-73419.htm

i can get a pretty good deal on them installed and aligned and all and i was just wondering if anyone had any expierence with them.

any other fairly cheap tire recomendations (205/55/15) are welcome too.

    thanks guys

I have heard or seen mastercraft, i dont think i associated it with a perforamce tire... That seems quite a hefty $$$ for a tread pattern... but then again a good deal is a good deal, if you can walk away paying less than $85 a tire i would say go for the trial and let us know.

If not, have you looked into the fuzion ZRi (as a summer tire) i was slightly hesitant to get them, but i have only good things to say... the sidewall stiffness is my favorite part about the tires

My friend with a Turbo LS/vtec civic just switched to fuzion zri from the Kumho 711 ... and he said he noticed some added traction before the tires let loose in 3rd

i think the Zri is alot cheaper though.... a 205/55/15 is ~ $64 a tire from tire rack

I have a set sitting in my dining room lol They are pretty good but they didnt last me 10k miles. I had camber wear out the a$$ but thats my fault for not getting my alignment after my drop. And i do not like the directional tread. I mean my ass was all over the roads from the road crown, but damn they felt really good on the corners.

What are your requirements for them?

What kind of weather will they be driven in?

mostly spring/summer. im at school in the winter. i have a lot of suspension upgrades so i want a tire that will be able to handle some spirited driving.

I got falken ze-512's for 62$CDN a peice, and there pretty damn good for what I paid. Those tires you linked to have a terrible treadware rating 280, AA traction means they grip like a mofo. Basicaly they should be great sticky tires but there not gonna last long

                  Azenis RT-615s in 205/50R15

$92 each from tires.com, but that includes shipping.

Mucho grip, and you should get about 10k miles out of them.

For DD use, my Azenis used 2/32 of tread in 3000 miles.

But treadwear wasn't why I bought them.

Try some yoko avs es100s. Jan has been running those for a while on his cb.

Somebody else mentioned parada spec 2s. Those might be good.

                            Also Nitto Neo-gens.

man I don't know but my 512's have sweet traction in wet, and I don't understand how they could be lasting so little
