    18" X 8" on stock suspension.

Alright, I read the threads. I need some help. Can I drive (you know not when driving fast, like going out to dinner w/ date, the club, etc.) my CB7 on 18 X 8 inch rims, with a high offset (i.e. +35,+38,+42, etc.) on a stock suspension with some nice 205/40/18's with/without rolling or cutting my fenders? If I can will the tire have that collasped sidewall look?

    8 inches = 203.2mm....

so technically, you should be able to run 205's, but I always thought people ran at least 215's with wheels that wide..

and yes...you will have problems with your rear fender clearance...I can't really say about the front tho....I have 7" wide wheels with a +32mm offset, and the rear fenders touch just a little bit (about 3mm)

i ran 235s in the back and 225's in the front with my 18s on stock suspension so you should be fine.

I talked to a tech at my job today, and if they will fit with the right offset I may have to run a 215 or 225. This will achieve that slanted/ angle tire look from the edge of the rim.

Sorry, just have to double check. I know the front will fit, but will an 18" X 8" rim fit in the rear? (With and without cutting the fenders) Please let me know.

But what width was your rim, and the offset.
