biggest 15" tire size on cb7? (winter) (15s)

hey i know this is the wrong time of year to be thinking about this,.. but i'm about to lower my car and was wondering.....

I live in a place where there is lots of snow in the winter, and since i am about to lower my car with H+R sports... , i was thinking about how my car is gonna be even harder to drive around this winter.

but then i was thinking... " hey i could buy a set of xtra big 15" winter tires(longer overal tire diameter), and that would maybe raise the car up like .75" or so, and throw em on when winter comes, which would help me out a bit.

so my question is... what is the biggest size of 15" tires that will fit on a Cb7 somewhat comfortably. (with about 1.7" lowering springs)

they don't really need to be any wider then stocks, just a longer diameter.

    The formula is Size of tire(245) X Percent of sidewall(45=.45) X 2 divided 25.4 + rim size.

so say you have a stock 195/70/15

    195 x .7 x 2 divided by 25.4 + 15

this will give you the stock rolling diameter, do this also to the aftermarket tire with whatever wheel and it will tell you how much you are raising the vehicle.

    195/70/15 = 25.74

I'm in CT, and I drive my car about 350 days out of the year. That means, if it snows I'm driving in it. I'm lowered about 2 inches. Harder to drive? Probably. I've found that if you go excruiciatingly slow, you'll be fine. Take corners at 10mph. DOn't go above 30. You'll be fine. The handling when the weather is nice is enough of a trade off for crappy driving in the winter.

            I don't think so. The highest sidewall I've seen for 195mm is 65. (195/65/15).
You should be fine with that even with your drop.
My winters are 195/60/15 and 205/50/15 summers, with a 2" drop.

My CB7 is now ***FOR SALE***
