    Places to shave tires?

I have a terrible flatspot in my rear tire and one suggestion from a friend was to shave the tire to minimize the thumpity thump. Anyways anyone know of any places that are nationwide that actually shave tires? I really don't want to have do a "burnout" to even them out.. Anyways help me out guys, thanks.

lol if i do a burn out [my car is an auto] i'd have to do either a neutral drop or an ebrake burnout and i dont want another flatspot or a broken tranny.

Most places that shave tires will only shave new tires. then they have to shave used tires they have to do alot of extra work sharpening the blade and or replaceing the blade.

yeah I just realized that.. i'll just have to figure out where im going to be burning out.. i'll probably invest in some bleach as well so that my car won't drag the rear tires.. any other suggestions?

you should give tirerack a call..i'm sure they shave tires...not sure what their policy is on used tires

it'll be easiest to find a local shop do it for you though
