Correct tire air pressure - I don't know what it is

...specifically if you change the size of your tires wouldn't the correct air pressure change? I see some posts where people advise going with whatever the car manufacturer recommends and posts on the car even if the wheel size increases dramatically. But isn't the volume of air in different size tires different and would that affect correct tire pressure?

My daily drive is going from a stock EX with 15 inch rims to 17x215x45. I will use these new tires year round as I live in a place where weather and traction is not an issue.

What should my new air pressure be?

on some tires it will say max psi .... take a look at the tire dont put the max psi but close to it

Sorry, and I don't mean to be rude, but that's not an informed answer.

There is science involved here. Guessing doesn't cut it.

I put mine on 35psi and i have stock ex rims and all season tires. It makes a difference. You do feel all the bumps in the road but of nice road its smooth.
