      Beat me to it.

Seriously though, there's no point to this. You'll just be adding more rolling mass to the car that you'll use power to overcome. It won't offer any performance benefit at all except planting you more in hard turns.

But when I search "widest" in the search bar and select titles only I get a page of results. It seems that people are running 245s on 18" wheels and get a ton of rub. Lots of people have 225s and it seems that some rub and some don't. If you're of the mentality that you need huge/wide tires then get ready to rub on a lowered vehicle.

OP I would highly recommend against this simply because those who try going too wide with their whels usually cause themselves a lot more damage and cost of repairs on their suspension in the long run. I went with too big of wheels once on my old civic hatch and I learned my lesson quick. While this look is pretty badass it really serves as more form over function.

It's possible that it won't even fit. 245 is going to require a very wide rim... a minimum of 8".

x2 And 8 inch wheels are a very wide wheel and would cause fitment issues right off the bat.
